The primary application is surface preparation for bridge expansion joints that use water-stop materials. Because expansion joints have steel components on the sides and very narrow gaps, there are only a few tools that can be used effectively in such environments. PICUS can deliver powerful surface preparation equivalent to Sa 2½ even under these conditions, making it ideal for treating tight and deep spaces.
